Minutes of the Sutton St Edmund Parish Council Meeting held on Wednesday 24th June 2026 at Sutton St Edmund Village Hall.
Present: Cllrs C. Hatch (Chair), C. Hunns (Vice-Chair), R. King and Miss D. Leedham (Clerk).

39.26 Apologies for absence and acceptance of reasons given
Apologies were received from Cllrs Beatty and Sleight, and District Cllr Eldridge, reasons given were accepted.
40.26 To receive any declarations of interest in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011 and to consider any requests for dispensations
None.
41.26 To consider minutes from 13th May 2026 and resolve to approve as minutes
The minutes from the meeting held on 13th May 2026 were reviewed. It was resolved to approve the minutes as a true record, and they were duly signed.

To receive, consider and approve cash book income and expenditure 2025-26 statements and asset register.
Proposed by the Chairman, seconded by Cllr Hunns, all agreed.
To receive the Annual Internal Audit Report and approve.

To receive, consider and approve the Annual Governance Statement 2025-26 and for the Chair and Clerk to sign.

To receive, consider and approve the bank reconciliation, variance analysis and the Annual Accounting Statement 2025-26 and for the Chair and RFO to sign.

To approve the dates of electors’ rights to be exercised Tuesday 30th June 2026 to Monday 10th August 2026
43.26 To receive, consider and review quotes for email providers.
The Council considered quotes for email providers and agreed to quote 6, £108.00.

The Council requested Bank Statements be made available as part of the meeting packs.
