Temporary Road Closure – Broadgate Road, Sutton St Edmund

Lincolnshire County Council has notified the Parish Council of a temporary road closure on Broadgate Road, Sutton St Edmund, between Cross Road and New Fen Dike, to allow essential carriageway maintenance works to be carried out.

Closure period: 10 August to 6 September 2026

Please note that the road will not be closed for the entire period. The restriction will be in place for up to six days, as and when required. Advance signage will be displayed on site confirming the exact dates and times of the closure.

Diversion routes and arrangements for vehicular and pedestrian access will be clearly signposted during the works.

Residents and visitors are advised to allow extra time for their journeys and plan ahead where possible.
