February 2023 Minutes (extraordinary mtg)
Minutes of the extra-ordinary meeting of Sutton St Edmund Parish Council held on 28th February 2023 at Sutton St Edmund Village Hall.
Present: Cllrs G. Masters (Chairman), C. Hunns, C. Allen, C. Hatch, 2 members of the public and D Blackburn (probationary Parish Clerk)

The Chairman welcomed everyone to the meeting.

Agenda
1. Apologies for absence and reasons given.
a. None.
2. To receive any declarations of interest in accordance with Localism Act 2011 and to consider any requests for dispensations in respect of DPI’s.
a. None.
3. Notes of the general meeting held on 17th January 2023 to be approved as the new minutes.
a. Following review, (with Cllrs Hatch and Hunns asking to review them at the meeting), Council resolved to accept the notes as a true copy of the minutes, the Chairman duly signed.
4. Bus Shelter
a. Quotations for tree cutting around the village Bus Shelter were reviewed and actively discussed. Concerns were raised about interference with non-Parish property and Highways. Following proposal by Cllr Allen and seconding by Cllr Hunns it was unanimously resolved to award the contract to RW LANDSCAPING LTD, subject to getting adequate reassurances from RW LANDSCAPING LTD concerning interaction with Highways and the need to restrict any work obstruction to the Parish Councils Car Park area.
5. Playing Field Hedge
a. Payment to TA Blackamore Ltd was ratified by the Council in respect of Hedge Trimming, subject to satisfactory completion. Clerk to check that the work had been completed.
6. To confirm the date of the next Parish Council meeting
Tuesday 14th March 2023, 7pm at Sutton St Edmund Village Hall.
